Pirate Personalities on Father’s Day
June 16, 2013
12:00 - 5:00 p.m.
Fun for fathers, dads, granddads, kids and families! Join Tinkerbell and our seasoned pirates as they visit The Whimsical Woods’ trail and you become the hero for Felicity and Will. Dads will want their pirate caricature drawn by J-Skills, Jason Langford. You will have a chance to climb in the Swiss Family Robinson tree house, race Jack in the Beanstalk, put Humpty Dumpty together again, mine for gems, sail off to Treasure Island, compete in a giant checker game, or just sit back on the porch in the cool breeze. There is something for everyone at Burritt on the Mountain! Regular admission and hours apply.

Home School Happenings
May brings Home School Happenings to The Whimsical Woods! We might learn about eggs with Humpty Dumpty, try our hand at Cinderella’s chores, or see what Jack and the Beanstalk can teach us about bartering for goods! Older students don’t fret, fairy tales and classic literature like Tom Sawyer and Treasure Island are not just for little kids. Activities will be age appropriate. (Lower Elementary – Tuesday, 5/7 and Wednesday, 5/8; Upper Elementary and Middle School – Wednesday, 5/1)
E-mail Kelly Fisk to reserve your child’s spot or arrange a private class.
